Kerala Houseboat Packages

Experience the Backwaters of Kerala on board the ‘Kettuvallams’- traditional rice boats of Kerala. Originally intended to carry men and cargo through the circuitous inland waterways of Kerala, these modified Houseboats are made of locally available palm trees, arecanut, bamboo and natural materials.
The houseboats are luxuriously furnished with spacious living / dining areas and cozy bedrooms - well furnished with fans, A/C & attached modern toilets. A well-equipped and hygienic kitchen with expert cooks, provide a variety of local cuisine.
Cruise through the famous Alleppey backwaters, into the Vembanad Lake to Kumarakom and along the shores of the Kuttanad paddy fields – one of the rare instances of paddy fields cultivated below the sea level.
Stop along the way at a ‘chayakada’- tea shop or stroll along the paddy fields. Try your hand at fishing and your fresh catch will be cooked for you on the spot. Laze around on the deck and catch up on your reading.

PACKAGE DETAILS :
- Rates are inclusive of Accommodation, Lunch, Evening Tea with snacks, Dinner & Breakfast (Veg or Non-Veg Menu to be specified at the time of booking).
- CHECK – IN : 12.30 PM CHECK-OUT : 9 A.M.
- CHECK – IN at Kumarakom : 1 PM
- Package starts with Lunch and ends with Breakfast.
- A/C- Standard Boats: A/C Operational from 9 p.m to 6 a.m
- A/C- Luxury Boats: A/C Operational unlimited as per the requirement of the guest.
- Special dishes can be arranged subject to availability and advance notice, against direct payment.
- *Peak Season : 25% Hike in rates during the Peak Season.
- Service Tax applicable extra as per government rules.

EXTRA PERSON AND CHILD POLICY :
- Child upto 5 years will be accommodated on complimentary basis without extra bed.
- Child from 6-12 years will be accommodated with one extra bed per room, subject to a maximum of 2 children, as per extra person rate - for each child.
- Person above 12 years will be accommodated with one extra bed, subject to a maximum of one person, as per extra person rate.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND RULES :
- 30 Days advance notice : Full refund
- 30 Days – 15 Days advance notice : 50% Refund
- Less than 15 Days advance notice : No Refund
- Retention will be levied for all days of confirmed booking in case of No Show.
- Peak Period: No Refund for bookings during Peak Period, irrespective of when the booking is cancelled.
