THE FARM HOUSE - A HERITAGE RETREAT
Journey back in time to holidays at the Tharavadu - ancestral homes of Kerala.The Farm House constructed in the 19th century, was the ancestral ‘Tharavadu’ of the Moopen (chieftan). The building has been maintained in its traditional heritage style with all the modern facilities added for the comfort of the guests.Furnished in all its traditional charm and glory with antique furniture and artifacts, it even has a ‘Macchu’ (attic) converted into a fun room, where children can play in a world of their own.
Set in the environs of the Royal Village, the stay at The Farmhouse gives the guest the feeling of a Kerala Homestay. The surrounding coconut trees, more than ten varieties of mango trees and the abundant fruit trees give the city dwellers a chance to sample the delights of an era and way of life which is gradually becoming a bygone memory.
